A Staycation Lets People Relax and Reset

Did you know 54% of Americans feel guilty about taking a vacation? According to our research the United States is the only country that doesn’t require people take time off.  France requires people take 30 days of vacation time a year, Austria 25.

A Staycation Could Be the Way to Go

In these times of uncertainty where people are fearful of travel, a staycation could be the way to go.  That’s exactly what we did this weekend. We've discovered there is magic to a staycation! Just a forty minute drive from where we live, a staycation is a wonderful way to refresh and reset!

A Change is As Good As a Rest

Breaking free from routine is relaxing.  There’s an expression “a change is as good as a rest” and we believe it! We have enjoyed exploring places near by and have found restaurants and local stores we didn’t know exist.

Quality Time and Family Bonding

Three of our grandchildren have had another opportunity to bond. Swimming in a pool minutes from where we live or hours, to our grandchildren is still a pool. For us, it’s been an excuse to feel like kids again.  Everyone wins! One night away, has provided the opportunity for quality family time.

Ease Out of Your Comfort Zone

We encourage you to break free from your routine and get out an explore your own city.  It’s a great way to recharge the batteries.  Breaking free from routine is also good practice for getting out or your comfort zone.
