When people see you online, how do people feel? Building your brand means not only providing practical information, it also means understanding how people feel emotionally when they see you and hear you?

A recent article mentions between 70 - 93% of what we say is non-verbal. Only 7% of what we say is with words, 55% through body gestures and 38% through tone of voice. The same is true online. With one click or tap, if online marketers aren't being authentic, people are gone. People have a couple seconds to make a first impression online. We have learned more by making mistakes, than by getting things right. Being authentic is something we value greatly. It's taken practice and a lot of courage to be authentic online.
