Why did you subscribe to our videos?  Is it because you want more out of life?  Maybe you are looking for more meaning, more time to do the things that are important to you.  Whatever it is, you are here for a reason.

Little Decisions Create the Fabric of Our Lives

We believe we are all where we are this very moment as a result of the little decisions we make every day.  It’s these little....what seems like insignificant decisions that creates the fabric of our life. 

Our Current Reality is a Result of These Little Decisions 

If we truly want more out to life, we have to first become aware of the decisions that have led us to this place and then change these decisions to get us to where we want to go.  The decisions that got us here, will not get us there. 

We would like to take you through a little exercise.  Please take out a piece of paper and draw a circle.

What Things Do You Currently Have in Your Life?

In that circle draw, name the the things you currently have in your life.  These can be objects like a car, a house or the special people like family and friends in your life.  Perhaps you have a job where you earn a lot of money.  Whatever it is, make this circle personal.

What Do You Want in Your Life That You Don't Have Now?

Then, outside this circle name or draw the things you don’t have, but want in your life. 

Maybe you are passionate about the environment and want to purchase an electric car.  You currently live in a house.  The kids are grown up and you’re ready to buy your dream condo with a specular view of the ocean.  

You work hard and don't have enough time to spend with friends and family.  Your goal is to spend more quality time with your children and grandchildren.  Maybe you have a good job, but you’re unfulfilled.  You’re looking for meaningful work and peace of mind.  Having freedom to live life on your terms is part of your ideal life. 

The things you name or draw outside the circle should represent your ideal life.

The Circle is Your Comfort Zone

The circle represents your comfort zone.  It’s the feeling of safety that keeps us within the circle. It’s that "comfortable" comfort zone.  No wonder it's easy to get stuck there.  Fear stops us from breaking out of our comfort zone.  

Fear Keeps Us Here

Fear of failure - we tell ourselves we’re too old to learn technology….. or what will people think? ….. or what if I fail? ….. I don’t have time or money.  To achieve those things outside our comfort zone we must face our fear.

How Do People Face Their Fear?  

Take action!  It’s that simple.

Do something every day that scares you.  Read a book, learn a new computer skill, reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while, talk to a stranger.  Do something different, it doesn’t have to be huge … do something that scares you every day.

The Secret Is to Stretch Yourself

Push yourself to try new things and before you know these new little decisions will create a different future.  Start by taking baby steps.  Eventually the little decisions you make today will move you towards achieving the things outside your comfort zone.  Every day moves you closer to living your ideal life.

Take Baby Steps Everyday

It starts with desire ….  and awareness of the habits that got you where you are today …. and a willingness and courage to try something new …. every day.
