How to Believe in Yourself Again – Wake the Fun Up

How to Believe in Yourself Again

Feel Like a Kid Again

Why do lots of us believe in ourselves as kids more than we believe in ourselves as adults?   As kids we are asked “what do you want to be when you grow up?”  Lots of us would have said boldly ...  we want to be an astronaut, a doctor or a movie star.  When do these dreams disappear?  Where does belief in ourselves go?

How Do We Regain Our Childhood Belief?

Why Is Self- Belief So Important?

Self-belief allows us to try new things, meet new people and get out of our comfort zone.  Belief in ourselves is a powerful thing that keeps us moving forward even when we don’t know what's ahead.  A lack of self-belief is equally powerful, it keeps us small and keeps us standing still.

Self-Belief Can Slip Away

We believe that self-belief slips away little by little, one life experience, one comment one perceived failure at time.  The really frightening thing about self-belief, it slips away so silently we don’t even know its gone.  It's not too late, adults can believe in themselves again!

Be Aware of the Voices in Your Head

Start by acknowledging the thoughts that go through your head.  Be aware of the names you call yourself.  When something goes wrong, do you tell yourself you’re stupid, useless, not able to do anything right?

Understand Where Thoughts Came From and Release

Think about where these negative thoughts come from.  Remember most of us start out believing we can do anything.  Somewhere along the way we start to internalize the negative experiences and make these experiences personal.  We start calling ourselves names we would never call anyone else.  We are often less forgiving of ourselves than we are of others.

Make the decision to acknowledge the past and set it free.  Work to change your mindset. Move forward one step at a time.

Surround Yourself With Positivity

Surround yourself with positive people, people who believe in you.  When you spend time with friends or colleagues, do you feel energized or drained of energy?  People can contribute to you feeling positive or negative about yourself.  Sometimes in life there comes a time when we have to let people go. Give yourself permission to set someone free.

The Power of Community

Launch You is a community of positive people, all on the same pathway to freedom and living our ideal lives.  Through our positive experiences as members we have grown to value and respect other members and feel privileged to be part of the community. Our association with fellow members has helped us achieve success faster.

Take the Leap and the Net Appears

Just Do it!

Eventually you might just have to as the Nike slogan says, just do it!  Especially when you don’t know how to do it ….. or where "just doing it"  will lead. Belief can build over time.  Take back that childhood belief in yourself and do something that scares you.  Who cares what people think!

Take a Leap of Faith

When we started our online business it was scary.  We knew very little about technology and we believed we  were too old to learn. And then we thought of all the other skills we had learned along the way like driving a car, riding a bike, a horse, playing in the NHL.  Why would this be any different? So we took the leap and we’re  glad we did.

Sometimes We Need to Take a Leap of Faith

Please reach out by responding to this email when you’re ready to reconnect with  that fearless child within and say “ Let’s Do it”  Let's do it together!
