Just the Right Amount of Patience! - Wake the Fun Up

Just the Right Amount of Patience!

Too Much Patience Will Keep You Stuck

Patience, is a funny thing. When people have too much patience, people stay in the same place and never achieve their dreams. The same is true when people don’t have enough patience, people may give up too easily and not achieve their dreams either.

For Patience to Work It Needs to Be Just Right

Think of Goldilocks when you think of patience ….. to achieve your dreams, patience can’t be too hot or too cold, it must be just right!  My fall on the weekend has been a good reminder of how key it is to keep patience in balance …. just right.  On one hand, I want this experience to be over and for my face to be back to normal. And on the other, I am incredibly thankful I am still able to type …. and quite simply put thoughts together.

We're still doing videos ... patiently waiting for my face to look better will keep us standing still.  We don't have patience for that!

Too Much Patience Keeps People in Status Quo

Lots of people have too much patience.  They are willing to put up with long commutes, office politics, unfulfilling jobs just to pay the bills. Having this level of patience keeps people right where they are, stuck in status quo. It's okay if you’re happy with that.  We suspect you wouldn’t be here if you were.

Lots of People Sell Their Souls For a Pay Cheque

Living the life you’ve always imagined, achieving your dreams will require you at some point to say “enough is enough!” In other words, to lose some patience. If you’re like most people you spend money on new clothes to look the part. You drive a car you’re still paying for, leave your beautiful home you work so hard to maintain and have no time to enjoy. You leave your family behind. Your family, who you love, and want to spend more quality time, to work in a job you don’t really like .... just to pay the bills.

Does that make sense?

It Doesn’t Have to Be this Way

Starting and running an online business can change this. Warning, starting and running an online business requires patience….but not too much! Learning new skills can be challenging at times. It requires patience with yourself. Just enough patience to  keep you moving forward when the going is tough.

Give Yourself a Push to Achieve Your Dreams

Without enough patience, you might feel so overwhelmed, you throw up your hands and say “I’m out!”  Remember Goldilocks, the right level of patience is not too hot, not too cold …. It’s just right.  You will need just the right amount of patience to “kick your own butt” when learning new skills becomes hard.

Let’s Face it ….

Anything worth having takes work. If you really want to change your life and achieve your dreams, you will need to work at it. The first step may be when you finally say to yourself - enough is enough!  For those of you who have already started your online journey, keep going.

The Right Amount of Patience Moves You Closer

Want to achieve your dreams?  Have the right amount of patience. For those of you who have been willing to put up status quo up to now, know when you start your online journey, you will meet challenges along the way.

The Level of Patience Needs to Be Just Right

Be patient enough with yourself so you keep going, you will achieve your goals. Don’t be so patient with yourself you put off to tomorrow what you could do today.

Patience is like porridge - it needs to be just right!
