Perhaps it’s because, since the young age of around five, we have been conditioned for new beginnings at the start of every school year. New pencils, new clothes, new books only confirm we are starting something new. There has been an entire industry created for back to school time.

With every new beginning there is an ending. At this time of year, seasons change and so do our daily routines. There is an energy in the air that is magical. At the same time, new beginnings represent change and with change we step into the unknown. Until this unknown becomes familiar, new beginnings can be scary.

The last few months have sure showed us that. The world changed overnight and we were all forced into new routines that for many of us were new beginnings. For many people the last few months have represented a time of endings and forced new beginnings.
