Waking the Fun Up as Digital Entrepreneurs

Having Fun Being Digital Entrepreneurs 

Working online has given us the freedom to put fun back in our lives.  Maybe you too have the privilege of having life long friends.  It doesn’t matter how much time has passed between the last get together, it’s like no time at all.  We don’t “do" small talk, the talk is real and uncensored, there is no judgment with friends like these.  My friends know me and love me anyway, something I am grateful for every day. I have the privilege of knowing these friends as far back as kindergarten (my kindergarten friend and partner couldn't be with us this time), I have almost lost count of the decades.  Starting in kindergarten  and throughout elementary school and high school we have learned many life lessons together.  We share many of the same values because we grew up together, we experienced a lot of “firsts” together. Every significant other is equally as special and only adds to the fabric of who we are together now.

 A few things I've learned from my friends along the way:

  Don’t take yourself too seriously. 

  Support one another even if you don’t agree with certain choices.

  Sometimes it's best to agree to disagree (fifteen-love)

  Maintain confidences always.

  Sing and dance even if it scares you.

  Celebrate one another and the time we have together. 

  Laugh lots.

  Love animals.

 Ouija boards are not toys.

 Eating smarties and popcorn together is “fun-food”!

 Be who you really are - these friends see through the facade anyway.

There are more life lessons than these that I carry with me everyday without even thinking about it.  My friends are a part of who I am.

When Bob and I told our friends about Six Figure Mentors and the decision we made to become digital entrepreneurs they were both supportive and excited.  It was a happy day when Bob took a video of my friends and me shouting “Wake the Fun Up”!

I find myself waking my fun up more than ever before. One of the best things about this business, it forces us to get out of our comfort zone.  I find myself looking for “fun” opportunities like never before. Fun is all around us, we just have to seize it.  Bob took a video of me zooming down a water slide, something I thought I had outgrown.  Not so fast, it’s fun being kids again! Thank you Six Figure Mentors for giving us the excuse to Wake our Fun Up.
